Today I'm contemplating filing taxes

It appears that the IRS offers two
options. One options is fillable
forms. The other option is tax
software.
I think I'll try the fillable forms
this year. This sounds like it is
the closest approximation to what I
already do.

I just learned something. I learned
that filing electronically for 2010
is no longer possible. I'll have to
paper file instead:
Currently, this web page has red lettering
at the top that says that says the following:
Free File has closed for this year. Check
back January 17, 2012 to file your 2011
Free File return.
Looks like I'll be filing paper for my 2010
return. I was granted an extension and am
now filing late.
